My trip to Stormking Art Center was truly eye opening. The sculpture that caught my eye was titled "The Arch", made in 1975 by Alexander Calder. This piece stuck out to me because it reminded me of a project I did called "Planes and Surfaces". The curves and harsh straight edges remind me of shaping my paper into different forms to make it 3D.
